Cooling and Drying

These foods are actually part of the classic “cleansing” diet commonly used in the treatment of obesity, acne, cancer prevention and inflammatory diseases, and also for the treatment of some forms of diabetes and high blood pressure. Such a diet is practised mainly in summer and at the end of summer in coastal plain areas, where the climate tends to be humid, but it can also be used in the spring depending on each person’s condition.
